Footprints in the Sand
One night a man had a dream. As he was walking along the beach with the Lord scenes from his life flashed before him. There in the sand were two sets of footprints: one belonging to him, And the other to the Lord. As the man looked back over his life, he noticed that during the lowest parts of his life, there was only one set of footprints. When he asked the Lord why he was left to walk along, the Lord said: “My precious child, I love you! I would never leave you. When you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you.”

Please join us family and friends in the celebration of Kay J Blum's life. We will serve light refreshments while sharing memories, stories, and laughter.

On November 28, 2015 she passed away of natural causes on her way to a craft fair, something she loved to do.
“My very fondest memory of Kay is seeing her with her black cowboy hat with the Christmas stocking on top, I knew the Christmas season could start and I would be buying the beautiful ornaments she made and painted. I have always treasured those. I will miss her but will forever have that picture of her in my thoughts. May you rest in peace my friend.”
We will all miss her kindness, sense of humor and her laugh…..
And He will raise you up on eagle’s wings, bear you on the breath of dawn. Make you to shine like the sun, and hold you in the palm of His hand.
"I will not be able to attend that day (out of town) but I wish to share that we here kindly remember Kay especially when once our children were on her bus we knew all was well. We had complete confidence and security no matter the weather or what situation might arise on the bus and that's a big deal for a parent. Our three children are grown now and each appreciate Kay's smile, voice, efforts, dedication, stern but fair manner and toughness and so do we. Our kids didn't realize that school began and ended on the bus but surely do now." -The Thonhoff's and Cox's
